Our Mission
Bringing people together to end hunger and its root causes
Marion Polk Food Share works with local grocery stores, farms, food processors and community members to gather and distribute nutritious food through more than 70 local partners, including food pantries and meal sites. The Food Share also delivers Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities, operates a six-acre urban farm on the Chemeketa Community College campus, and supports a network of community gardens that connect people to their food.
Together with volunteers, donors, and community partners, we are working to shorten the distance between families and the nutritious food they need to work, learn, and thrive.
Marion Polk Food Share is a member of the Oregon Food Bank Network.
