Marion Polk Food Share is proud to recognize WinCo Distribution Center for their incredible generosity and commitment to reducing food waste.
WinCo DC donated 466,831 pounds of food during our fiscal year. That contribution helped provide the equivalent of 389,025 meals to individuals and families throughout Marion and Polk counties while also preventing an estimated 233.42 tons of CO₂ emissions from entering the atmosphere.
WinCo DC’s partnership helps ensure that wholesome, nutritious food reaches our neighbors facing hunger instead of going to waste. Their ongoing support strengthens our community, promotes environmental sustainability, and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of people. We are deeply grateful for their partnership and dedication to ending hunger.
