Letter from the President Spring 2026

Welcome to the Spring 2026 edition of Harvester. This season, we’re highlighting stories about community connections and healthy food.

You’ve already met Wanda, a senior who receives nutritious food, delivered right to her front door through Farm Share Rx. You’ve helped her to make meaningful, long-term changes in her life by ensuring that she can incorporate more fresh produce into her diet.

Next, you’ll meet best buds Chris and Mike, who have been volunteering with the Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws food pantry for more than a year. Their friendship embodies the camaraderie and community connection we strive to foster while providing support to neighbors who are navigating food insecurity.

Lastly, we’re highlighting one of our partner pantries, Silverton Area Community Aid. A recent facility expansion has helped even more of our neighbors access critical services such as food assistance and financial aid with the dignity and respect they deserve.
