We have plenty of exciting volunteer opportunities outside of the Food Share’s warehouse! You can help serve community members by working at a Food Share partner pantry near you, getting your hands dirty in a community garden, delivering grocery boxes, helping out with a food drive, and more.

Partner Pantries

Volunteering with one of Marion Polk Food Share’s partner pantries is a great way to help your hungry neighbors. Volunteers help unload food, restock shelves, and maintain day-to-day operations with an opportunity to build community while working to address hunger.

Pantries have different volunteer needs and can be contacted directly about volunteer requirements. Visit our Find Food page to find a pantry near you.

Community Gardens and Youth Farm (seasonal)

Gardening can be an enriching experience for families and individuals to learn sustainable practices, understand their local climate, and support their own food supply. Community garden volunteers and volunteer groups enjoy seasonal opportunities working alongside dedicated garden coordinators and local gardeners.
