1. Director of People and Culture

The Director of People and Culture oversees the Food Share’s engagement of its most valuable resource – people. The Director of People and Culture will lead on culture practices, and provide expertise and support in the areas of Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion, Policy and Procedure Development, and HR Compliance.

2. Major Gifts Officer

The Major Gifts Officer develops relationships with leadership-level donors to deepen their engagement with the Food Share and provide them with meaningful information about the impact they make in the mission of ending hunger.

3. Food Resource Developer

The Food Resource Developer is responsible for engaging, fostering and supporting partnerships and ensuring donations by creating a process for allowing the community to donate food. This position develops a solicitation strategy for donation, coordinates logistics and processing of donations with Food Share warehouse staff. The Food Resource Developer helps to communicate with, and educate, community food partners on the impact every donation has on the Marion-Polk Food Share mission and the people we serve.

4. Transportation Specialist-Driver (Class B)

The essential role of the CDL driver is ensuring the safe, efficient delivery and pick-up of food for the Food Share’s network of partner agencies, donor partners and other community organizations, while ensuring order accuracy and providing excellent customer service.

5. Transport Specialist-Retail Driver (Temporary)

The primary role of the Retail Driver is to be the face of our organization to our retail store partners and the community at large. As the Food Share representative to our partner stores, this position will develop strong relationships that create value and trust with our retail partners. The variety of tasks performed on each route will ensure a high level of physical activity.

6. Transport Specialist-Warehouse Driver (Temporary)

The essential role of the Warehouse Driver is ensuring the safe, efficient delivery and pick-up of food for the Food Share’s network of partner agencies, donor partners and other community organizations, while ensuring order accuracy and providing excellent customer service. This position also assists in other areas of the warehouse to help complete daily tasks and maintain a clean warehouse.
