The work that the Food Share is doing is meaningful to me because the goal is for anyone to have access to food no matter what their background is. I believe that when one’s basic needs are met, it allows us to have the opportunity to live a good life. – Yuri

Yuriana Coronado joined the Marion Polk Food Share Board of Directors in 2022.

Yuriana has worked for over a decade in Salem Keizer Public Schools, her journey within the school district has taken her from working in the classrooms to school offices and eventually to the Communications department, where she currently serves.

Yuri’s family immigrated from northern Mexico in 1994 and made Salem their home. They continue to reside in the area, and Yuri’s journey is a testament to the importance of giving back to the community that has provided her family with opportunities.

Yuri enjoys traveling, exploring diverse cultures and landscapes, and the great outdoors through hiking. Above all, she loves spending quality time with her family.

El trabajo que realiza el Food Share es significativo para mí porque el objetivo es que todo el mundo tenga acceso a los alimentos, sea cual sea su origen. Creo que cuando se cubren las necesidades básicas, tenemos la oportunidad de vivir una buena vida. – Yuri

Yuriana Coronado se incorporó al Consejo de Administración de Marion Polk Food Share en 2022.

Yuriana ha trabajado durante más de una década en las escuelas públicas de Salem Keizer, su viaje dentro del distrito escolar la ha llevado de trabajar en las aulas a las oficinas de la escuela y, finalmente, al departamento de Comunicaciones, donde trabaja actualmente.

La familia de Yuri emigró del norte de México en 1994 e hizo de Salem su hogar. Siguen residiendo en la zona, y la trayectoria de Yuri es un testimonio de la importancia de devolver algo a la comunidad que ha brindado oportunidades a su familia.

A Yuri le gusta viajar, explorar culturas y paisajes diversos y practicar senderismo al aire libre. Por encima de todo, le encanta pasar tiempo con su familia.
