Letter from the President: Summer 2024

Dear Friend,

Welcome to the Winter 2025 edition of Harvester. This season, we’re sharing stories that illustrate how working together and caring for each other can make a big difference.

First, you’ll read about Brant. He’s had a tough time repairing his old truck on a fixed income. His story helps us understand why it’s so important to have reliable transportation to access necessities like food.

Next, meet Kathy, who found support, security, and belonging at one of our partner food pantries. Her story shows how these pantries do more than give out food!

Lastly, get to know Daniel, a Vietnam War veteran who struggled with readjusting to civilian life. His story is a strong reminder of how programs such as Meals on Wheels are essential in supporting our veterans.
