Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws is a community gathering place in Grand Ronde. With a name that means “house where you get food” in Chinuk Wawa, Iskam MәkhMәk-Haws is a partnership between the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and Marion Polk Food Share created to meet emergency food needs in the community. All are welcome.
Iskam MǝkʰMǝk-Haws is focused equally on food and community building. There are regular classes for community members teaching about gardening, cooking, and food preservation.
Food distribution is every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the COVID-19 changes.
Volunteers are welcome at Iskam MǝkʰMǝk-Haws. Please contact Francene Ambrose at if you would like to volunteer.
