Gimbel Foundation Feeds People With Hearty Chili
These bags of chili will each make 13 protein-rich bowls of food for a family in need. More than 108,000 meals are made possible in part by a grant from the S.L. Gimbel Foundation Advised Fund at The Community Foundation — Inland Southern California. Thank you Gimbel Foundation for your generous support.
Food Share’s chili mix is a powerhouse medley of dry beans, brown rice and spices that yield good food for pennies per serving. Our costs are kept low with volunteer packaging support and donations like Gimbel’s that allow us to purchase ingredients in bulk at great prices.
This is the third year that Food Share has received Gimbel Foundation support to help us stretch our food dollars and increase the amount of food we can deliver to local hungry residents.
